Just an update from last week's meeting.

 

Easter Tour- We will once again be hosting the traveling side from Vancouver on March 25, 26 and 27. There is a "Tsunami Relief" tournament to be scheduled for one of the days with the Corinthians and a soon-to-be-announced SCCA side playing the tourists on the other days.

 

Tsunami Relief Fund- Don't put those checkbooks away quite yet Gentlemen. The club's fund has grown to nearly $3,000.00 US and will remain open until the weekend of March 26th. Any and all donations are being made welcome by our esteemed treasurer. Checks can be made to The Corinthian Cricket Club and mailed to Lalit Sharma @ 5624 Hidden Glen Court, Westlake Village, CA 91362. The proceeds from the Easter weekend tournament will be added and then the entire fund will be distributed directly to specific victims of this natural catastrophe.

 

Golf Tournament- The Spring Classic is rolling around (tentatively schedule for the 2nd or 3rd Saturday in March). The tentative location is the TPC course in Fullerton (site of previous Corinthian golf outings) followed by dinner at Casa de Duck.

 

Nets- Nets and conditioning sessions will start in a few weeks. The captains will be deciding the wheres and whens.
